Ardesio DiVino 2014, 10^ Edizione

Saturday 2 and Sunday, August 3, 2014, the historic center of Ardesio in Val Seriana (Bergamo) for two days turns into an open cellar where, selected winemakers and artisans of taste, on the occasion of the tenth edition of the food and wine festival will offer Tasting Ardesio for tasting and for sale their products to the numerous visitors, enthusiasts and professionals in the sector. The event is organized and promoted by the Pro Loco Ardesio with the city administration with the support and collaboration vinumINfabula (Tegoni Paul and Luke Cagnasso - University of Parma). For the tenth year are expected to Ardesio over 6,000 visitors who, on a gastronomic journey through the flavors of the Peninsula and abroad, will be able to taste and buy directly: wine, extra virgin olive oil, salami, cheese, honey, beer, cider, flour and cereals, saffron, coffee and many other delicacies. In continuity with past editions and with the aim to promote not only the territory of Ardesio and Val Seriana but the food and wine culture, confirming the constant attention to the selection, quality and variety and above all the opportunity to know and taste buy the products that we bring to our tables directly from those who, with passion and dedication, produces them - distinguishing feature of the festival. In addition to tastings at the food stands (Saturday and Sunday opening stand from 10:30 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00), many events scheduled for the weekend: eco-friendly dinners (with the use of bio-degradable material) in the streets of the historic center, based on selected local products; "Stappa imagination ... and everything is transformed" workshops in creative play for children in care of Artelier; the contest Bottle divine reserved for tenants present; exhibitions "Ardesio Tasting World" and "10 years of Ardesio Tasting" and numerous concerts that will delight visitors during the tastings. To discover and rediscover Ardesio and its beauties, they are also arrange free guided tours: Saturday and Sunday (from 16:00 to 18:00) "meta Ethnographic Museum of Alta Valle Seriana"; Sunday (from 16:00 to 18:00) Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie. During the festival not to miss the project: "Collio / Brda.
