The twelfth edition of the food and wine festival "Ardesio Tasting" will take place on 5-6 and 7 August 2016 in the historic center of Ardesio (Seriana Valley). A gastronomic journey through the flavors of the Peninsula to rediscover also the culture of wine and food, where visitors to the festival can taste and buy wine and typical products directly from selected growers and artisans of taste. The exhibition, an exhibition market, is organized and sponsored by the Pro Loco Ardesio with the municipal administration's support, the Lombardy Region, Mountain Community Seriana and Promo Serio, and also with the collaboration of Paul Tegoni / Gourmet Events & Consulting (COMET Master teacher, University of Parma) and his team. For a weekend Ardesio will turn into a cellar in the open again this year giving us a beautiful new leading us to discover hidden corners of the small village: open courtyards of the historical center, to accommodate our growers and thousands of visitors, enthusiasts and experts in the field, that along the way will also find selected craftsmen, artists, musicians. Great protagonists will be the producers, that visitors can meet, get to know and buy directly from those who, with passion and dedication, produces what every day we bring on our table. For the year 2016, they expect more than 2,000 participants and 5,000 visitors who can taste the products offered by Italian and foreign manufacturers present: wine and also olive oil, balsamic vinegar, vaccines and goat cheese, parmesan cheese, salami, honey, jam, flour, biscuits, cocoa, coffee spelled, cider, saffron, infusions, salt, mountain herbs.
