The small hamlet of Ceretti in the month of July is preparing to be the protagonist and to welcome thousands of visitors. It offers initiatives, shows, excellent food, lots of music, exhibition stands where you can browse in a mix of tradition and fun novelties.

Everything is dedicated to San Domenico, Patron Saint of the hamlet; without forgetting the product chosen for the promotion of the territory and the awareness of quality production: the Potato. Flanked by initiatives linked to the rediscovery of Canavese and its cultural valorization, the union of the "Sagra della Patata" with the "San Dumine" festival has made it possible to offer, in addition to the excellent menu already consolidated over the years (typical appetizers, first courses, grilled meat and fish, fried fish, tasty side dishes and various desserts), a different showcase also for those typical local and non-local dishes that finally find the opportunity to make themselves known: from traditional gnocchi, to lisotti (flatbread cooked on the griddle and served, originally, with a garlic-based sauce, to which other variations based on tomato, gorgonzola, Nutella and jam were added for less strong palates) and "ciambelle di patate" (a very soft fried delicacy, sprinkled with icing or granulated sugar). A product in which the Pro Loco continues to invest every year, both for the cultivation criteria (organic) and seasoning (in larch wood crates in the darkness of old cellars) and for the revaluation of freshness and quality (hill potato). All accompanied by excellent wines from different parts of Piedmont and Oltre Po' Pavese.
