The Pink Asparagus Festival of Mezzago takes place in Mezzago, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza. From late April to late May, numerous volunteers contribute to the realization of this unmissable spring event.

The distinctive feature of the Pink Asparagus of Mezzago that sets it apart from other shoots is its tip: it is indeed pinkish in color unlike the classic asparagus, which is green. This peculiarity is due to the typical and exclusive clayey soil of the Mezzago territory.
