The town of Brisighella (RA), a beautiful medieval town, will host in November, three events that make up a tasty exhibition entitled "3 x 4 festivals hills": Festival of the pig November 3, Sagra pear fox and the aged cheese 10, truffle Festival on 17 and Feast of the Olive and Olive Oil 24 November 2013. Brisighella in the heart of the green valley of the Lamone and the Vein of chalks Romagna Regional Park, is "dominated" by 3 hills of chalk. On each of them there are: the imposing Venetian Fortress, the Clock Tower and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Monticino. But Brisighella is not only known for its architectural and natural beauty. It is known and appreciated by all gourmets of Italy for the culinary delights that characterize it. FESTIVAL PORCELLOLa party proposes the ancient rite that took place in the yard of each farmhouse with the killing of pork and meat processing by skilled butchers. The event offers the opportunity to sample delicious specialties: tasty crackling, fragrant head cup, pink hams, sausages and salami Mora Romagnola, prized breed indigenous pig and sweet pudding. You will also buy and taste all the other typical products of Romagna Apennines. FESTIVAL OF CHEESE AND PEAR VOLPINA STAGIONATOÈ an original market of autumn fruits and typical products of the hill, where the queen and king of the day will be the fox pear and mature cheese ".The volpine pears, small, round and hard were a typical product of Lamone valley. The festival has contributed over the years to the discovery of the properties of this forgotten fruit, offering the possibility to enjoy of it. Volpine pears are eaten boiled, cooked in water or wine, or baked. Great is the combination with the hard cheese of Brisighella, a cheese that is aged in chalk caves with ancient local traditions proceedings. FESTIVAL TARTUFOIl truffle is one of the most sought after products of Faenza hill. The local truffle hunters are skilled in finding this precious product of the subsurface. During the festival they are on sale characteristic tubers in the autumn varieties white and black truffles. In the local restaurants you can then taste refined recipes using this product. DELL'ULIVO AND OIL FESTIVAL (53rd) The Olive cultivation on earth Brisighella, dates back to ancient times: in Roman times the olive tree and its products were known and appreciated. On the last Sunday of November is celebrated the precious extra virgin olive oil, "Brisighello" and "Brisighella", to which was assigned the DOP, and the refined "Nobil Drupa", made from rare varieties of olives ( ghiacciole).
