Also this year the new vintages of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero are presented to the public during Nebbiolo Prima 2016, event organized by Albeisa and has become a must for wine previews. From 8 to 13 May 2016, Dawn prepares to welcome around 100 of the best journalists of wine from around the world for Nebbiolo, a five-day reserved for the press in which the companies will present their guests with the new vintages of Barolo (2012 and reserves in 2010), Barbaresco (2013 and 2011 reserves) and Roero (2013 and 2012 reserves). Nebbiolo First year celebrates twenty years. The event was in fact born in 1996, and in 2010 changed its name, keeping the same basic structure but always renewing itself a success due to the beautiful setting where this event takes place: a unique area, rich in castles and modeled by ups and downs embroidered of vineyards that draw the landscape, a rare example in which human intervention has gone to increase the beauty of the place. This is the viticultural landscape of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato, he entered in the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List and of which Albeisa became guardian and spokesman in the world. Guests will have the honor to taste these wines in the elegant halls of the Exhibition and Congress of Alba, they will come from Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Korea, Denmark, Estonia, Philippines, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, India , Japan, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Hungary, USA. The success of this event is to be attributed to Albeisa, non-profit association that 21 years ago gave way to this meeting. Born in 1973 from an idea of ​​Renato Ratti, to date, it is the body that manages the use of Albeisa bottle, container uniquely shaped and special, born at the beginning of the '700 and, still, identifies the best production of Langa. This bottle, also, since 2007 is made using the 30% of glass in less; less environmental impact that is expressed on two fronts: saving more than one million kg of glass per year and energy production costs much lower. The association has also produced in 2013, the 40th anniversary of foundation, a forest of 4000 plants in Kenya, one in every thousand bottles used in that year, proving to have an 'eye particularly attentive to protecting the environment. For the trade press, the event will have five days, following a formula that aims to satisfy the different needs of participants, allowing everyone to choose between a light and an intensive program. In the first case, journalists will participate in the morning, in blind tastings of wine to a maximum manufacturer and visit the wineries in the afternoon. Those who choose the second option instead, will have the possibility to extend the tasting and taste more than by company label, but to visit one winery. In this way, guests can learn about the wines, the faces and places of the Langhe, where the terroir is presented as a mosaic of expressions that mix philosophy and passion of every single family of winemakers.
