Now in its sixth edition, the Festival of the Senses, refined cultural event that every year attracts an audience of aficionados in the trulli valley lovers from all over Italy, is dedicating its sixth sense, a full calendar of events 22 to 24 August 2014 in the most beautiful farms and stately homes of the Itria Valley, between Cisternino (Brindisi), Locorotondo (Bari), Ceglie Messapica (Brindisi) and Martina Franca (Taranto). The event, organized by the Iter Itria in collaboration with the University of Bari Aldo Moro and the LAG Valle d'Itria, earned the award of a medal from the President of the Republic for its sought proposals for conferences, exhibitions , rides and slow-speed sensory experiences in a suggestive landscape. This year the Festival offers unusual readings of ethereal arguments and seemingly impalpable, ranging from neuroscience and magic, in the company of writers, scientists and artists. The inauguration will be held Friday, August 22 in Cisternino, in a place of rare charm suspended between the forest and the sea. To perform, in one of his rare appearances in our country, will be the Spanish artist Fatima Miranda, creator and performer of unique vocal performances of their kind in an extraordinary mix of oriental inspiration, phonetic poetry and theatrical suggestions. Many calendar appointments ranging in all fields of knowledge in the company of great experts in each discipline: the significance of time prophecies, from the placebo to the seduction investigated under the lens of Freudian psychoanalysis.
