The 2024 edition will go down in history as the edition of novelties. The mayor Gianni Addis, who opened the press conference, told them. Elizabeth Vargiu, councilor for tourism, emphasized the precious contribution that everyone offers when the carnival machine starts moving. "The meetings to plan this edition began in March last year, we started the collective work with attention to everyone's sacrifice and passion; the carrascialai are the soul of the party, this year the schools involved shared important moments with who plans and creates the carnival figures".

In the afternoon also inauguration of the "Historical Photographic Exhibition of the Carnival" within the commercial activities, with the collaboration of the Proloco Tempio Pausania and Vittorio Ruggero. Sunday 4 February, traveling band concert through the streets of the centre, with parade in the afternoon at 5pm.
Some variations on the route and the display of the floats for public viewing from the morning represent the real novelty of the year. Curious people and visitors will thus be able to experience the carnival atmosphere up close. Only in the afternoon will there be a meeting between the participants and the floats to begin the three scheduled parades.
Thursday 8th, the traditional entrance of His Majesty King George, accompanied by his Court. Sunday 11th, the sumptuous wedding between the sovereign and the commoner Mannena, and Tuesday 13th the grand finale with trial and condemnation to the stake and awarding of the winners. This year the Oscars of victory are organized by the boys of the Liceo G.M. Dettori and the Liceo Artistico De Andrè, institutes with which the collaboration with the carnival is increasingly close. There will be 8 floats in the competition plus three special guests.
Saturday 10th, day dedicated to the SoapBox Race, the popular and daring descent of the craziest four-wheeled artisanal creations, now in its 4th edition.
There will also be space for children on Monday 12 February, with the historic event dedicated to them. Children of all ages will entertain along the parade route.
Also for the 2024 edition of the Carrasciali Timpiesu, it will be possible to follow the live broadcasts on Thursday 8 and Sunday 11 February on Teleregione live dig. terrestrial ch 88 streaming on www.teleregionelive.it and on the broadcaster's social channels.
