The exhibition "The rice in the world" offers fifty varieties of rice grown in Italy and in the world, a very small part compared to the more than 140,000 types that can be found in nature, but enough to understand what Mother Earth gives us and how we can use them to the best in the kitchen, in the preparation of different dishes.
During the event, will be offered a series of short meetings with tastings, free for the public to understand and appreciate different and special rice varieties, starting from our region and arriving in the East, passing through some Principals Slow Food. Saturday, April 25, at 17.00, will be distributed until exhaustion, a taste of rice and peas with rice from Company Farm La Fagiana, Torre di Fine, the only rice produced in the province of Venice and packaged directly in the company.
Sunday, April 26 from 9:15 am to 12:30 pm is scheduled a trip to the research and collection of plants and herbs for culinary use, in the company of Anna Tonello, expert and cook (Participation is open to all.
