The real highlight will be Sunday, May 31 when 65 wineries will open their doors to visitors from 10 to 18.

At the member companies also will be distributed the original kit Unicef Open Cellars: buying cup and strap contributes to the campaign to help children in Nepal.

This edition of Open Cellars also sees the debut of the collaboration between the Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia and Cavò. Born as the original modular wine rack, Cavò, which received Honorable Mention at the Golden Compass Award 2014, it is now expanded version of the display designed specifically for the tenants. The new module, which will be presented on the occasion of Open Cellars, allows you to show the label of the bottles, it need repeatedly expressed by tenants and who exposes the wine, in public or in private. The new Cavò Exhibitor joins the wide range of intelligent rack, which have a structure cassette useful for transporting and storing wine in the dark. The modules Cavò, bottle holders and accessories will be on display in the cellar Conte d'Attimis Maniago in Buttrio, for the duration of Open Cellars.

Launch Contest Spirit of Wine
Open Cellars also marks the official opening of the International Competition for young cartoonists "Spirit of Wine": Participants can submit their works from 31 May to 31 August 2015. The competition, held annually by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia in collaboration with the magazine Ottagono, the City and the University of Udine and the Savings Bank of the Friuli Venezia Giulia, collects and selects the most beautiful and funny cartoons about wine made by cartoonists from around the world.
