National Exhibition of Raisin Wine and Wine Meditation 2015

May 1- 3 2015, Volta Mantovana becomes the capital of Italian Raisin wines and Wine Meditation. The thirteenth edition, will be dedicated to Italian wines but also the inevitable international wines. The guests of this year will be the Croats Raising wine, accompanied by Spanish and Portuguese wines

 

From Italy Italians the guests of honor will be the Vernaccia wine that appears at the end of the thirteenth century in Europe on the tables of kings, popes and wealthy merchants. The exhibition will take place between the stables and the Italian gardens and the halls of the sixteenth century Palazzo Gonzaga, in an atmosphere rich in history, culture and entertainment.

The possibilities to taste the wines are varied:

Tasting Table: a large desk set up in the main garden where you could taste all the wines on display. It costs EUR 2 for tasting.

 

TASTING: sommelier and producers will guide you in the tasting of raising wines paired with chocolate, cheese and produce. The tasting tours, lasting about 40 minutes, can be purchased at a reduced price on www.vinipassiti.com or days of the exhibition at the information point.

 

EXHIBITION: the large market with producers from all over Italy, where you can buy and taste, all the products of their production.

 

In these three days you can also have lunch in the beautiful gardens or participate in one of the wonderful tours of the building, the towers and the basement. During the festival, the participating restaurants in Volta Mantovana will offer a special menu at € 25.00.

 

The entrance ticket to the exhibition includes a tasting glass and good for the counter costs 8 Euro, available at 6 Euro if purchased online.


The exhibition is open from 9:00 to 20:00
