Appointment Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Artimino, between art and wine. Visits to the winery and the Medici Villa La Ferdinanda, wine tastings and more in the day of "Cantine Aperte", the event dedicated to the culture of responsible drinking, organized by the Italian Wine Tourism Movement.
For the first year, Artimino also open the doors of its cellar - but also of his Medici Villa "La Ferdinanda", built by Bernardo Buontalenti in 1596, hunting residence of Ferdinand I de 'Medici and UNESCO world heritage site in 2013 - with many proposals for the audience of curious and passionate.
Visitors receive upon arrival a detailed program and a map of the estate will be able to mark the times of the day as they please, including a guided tour of the villa and its garden, a tour of the winery and the aging room, wine tasting, tastings of local products, small tasting courses, visits to the Etruscan Museum and much more.
The events will be held from 11:00 to 17:30 on 31 May. The ticket will be 8 euro and give you access to all activities in the program, in addition to a discount of 10% on the wines of the estate at the Bacchus Gourmet food shop, along the walls of the village of Artimino, and a discount of 10% on lunch or dinner at the restaurant Biagio Pignatta, near the villa and hotel Paggeria Medicea.... read more»
