Eight hundred thousand fragments, one embracing the other, shine along the mosaic seafront. It is a walk that lights up the eyes and warms the heart the one a stone's throw from the sea in Marotta, where blue mixes with over 200 multicolored mosaics. It seems to dream, for a moment of walking in Barcelona among the works of Antoni Gaudì.

In just five years, the Chiaro Scuro cultural association, together with international artists and many local realities, has decorated well over a kilometer of seafront.

Extraordinary numbers that make Marotta the Italian capital of open-air mosaics. We are in the heart of the Marche, in the province of Pesaro Urbino, along the Adriatic, in the land of 'Two holidays in one': Mondolfo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, a treasure trove of art and culture, and Marotta, with its award-winning sea, where the Blue Flag and the Green Flag of Pediatricians wave, for child-friendly beaches and services appreciated by families, together with the Yellow Flag of the Cycling Municipality, for the commitment in the promotion and implementation of infrastructures and policies to favor of the bicycle.

The mosaics in the wall between the beach, the sidewalk and the cycle path are destined to grow, so much so that in the coming months they will color another 500 meters of seafront.

True works of art to be enjoyed, which fascinate and enchant tourists and visitors while cycling along the Adriatic Cycle Path or strolling, pausing to observe the many volunteers who attack the many fragments with skill and passion. At sunrise or sunset a sublime blend, with the colors of the mosaics that mix with those of the sky, giving unique emotions, perhaps before a swim in the crystal clear sea or sipping an aperitif in the many characteristic kiosks.

Art, colors, an award-winning sea, kilometers of cycle paths, quality food and wine: summer is coming and Marotta is ready to welcome visitors and tourists.
