Life of Wine 2014

For its third edition, "Life of Wine" comes back to Florence, Sunday, November 16, 2014, in the fascinating Florentine greenhouse, tepidarium of the Roster, and will bring together sixteen famous Italian wineries. Each company, in stands presided over by the same producers, winemakers and agronomists will bring in the more representative wines brought to the market last year and other wines at least two years old. A journey through time to understand how the wine evolves, as it is refined and improved with the passing years. All enriched by the opportunity to meet with the winemakers, discovering, in their stories, the stories and territories always unique that accompany work and passion.

From 11a.m. to 7p.m. it will be possible to taste all the wines present and get to know the winemakers and their labels and brands.

From 8:30p.m. onwards, however, the wine tasting will become protagonist in shared tables, presented by a sommelier, while you will be entertained by a barbecue party with live swing music with the trio "Wolverine".

The samples for tasting will again this year be judged by a panel of four experts journalists, who at the end of the tasting decreed before the public, the wines that most impressed and excited them: the producers who are distinguished for their products will receive a certificate of merit during a ceremony that will anticipate an aperitif.... read more»

LIFE OF WINE is an event for those working in the sector, as restaurateurs, wine merchants, buyers and journalists, and all wine lovers unique, which leads into the glass products are difficult to find on the market: an event thought that in Italy, as already happens in other countries, aging becomes culture and ability to evaluate and appreciate knowing it proves to be a better way to approach wine from the long journey.
