Sunday, September 18, 2016 back to Villa Sesso Schiavo Sandrigo (VI) Bacco & Codfish, the tasting event organized by AIS Veneto and Pro Sandrigo part of the 29th Festival of Baccalà alla Vicentina. After the success of the first edition, it has been expanded the selection of wines offered for their combination with Baccalà alla Vicentina. Besides Vespaiolo, Durello and Tai Rosso, local native that has always contend the scepter of best regional combination, they will find refined bubbles space, white wines with good structure and medium bodied reds, all candidates for the combination with the famous traditional dish . Forty companies present, some foreign, with 150 labels in glass. The program also includes a guided tasting of three unusual combinations, bookable at the entrance. Bacco & Codfish will be open from 14.30 to 20 and in addition to the salt of the sixteenth-century villa, visitors will be able to count on spaces of the surrounding park. For every hour you can taste a dish of salt cod: from 15 to 16 Crostini with creamed salt cod, from 16 to 17 Codfish Livornese, from 17 to 18 Pizza Codfish, from 18 to 19 Codfish Mediterranean and finally from 19 to 20 the Bacalà alla Vicentina. In addition, throughout the afternoon you can taste the tartare proposed by the meat Campo Gallo of Pozzoleone, Lattebusche Piave cheese and pastries Loison. During the afternoon, the Venerable Brotherhood of Bacalà and Restaurateurs of Bacalà Group will offer a demonstration on how to prepare the Baccalà alla Vicentina, according to the recipe coded by the Brotherhood, showing the various stages of processing, from the beating soaking, from preparation to cooking .
