Friday, December 30, starting at 19, the party continues with another exciting evening: the old town of Santa Fiora will revive the old Christmas tradition of "Torchlight", the festival of fire involving the whole country and each year attracts in the village visitors and tourists amiatino. The party has medieval origins, when the fire was a symbol of the sun, fertility and purification begins with the lighting of the wooden pyres, coal calls, which are located one in each square. After a bright procession winds through the streets until finishing under the door of Palazzo Sforza Cesarini, heating and lighting a magical night. In each square you can also taste some local delicacy by going to the branches, so they are called according to tradition the stands of food managed by local associations, each dedicated to a particular product.
