On 12 March 2023 from 10 to 20 the medieval castle of Moricone, a few km from Rome, will be the site of one of the most important initiatives dedicated to the discovery of Italian dairy excellence with "InFormaggio".
The event promoted by the cultural association StrangeDays & Aromarte –Cultura in tavola, is sponsored by the Municipality of Moricone.
Selected artisan producers and cheesemakers will be the setting together with industry experts and artists, within the splendid setting of the Savelli Castle in Moricone, where the undisputed star will be made in Italy cheese, a gastronomic excellence produced with care and passion.
The event will see the participation of other sector associations: Cibo Futuro and A.I.B.E.S. Lazio – Umbria and the extraordinary collaboration of ONAF (national organization of cheese tasters), which will guide the tastings with its master tasters.
Honey, jams, wine, liqueurs, oil, chocolate and artisan products will be the background to the proposals of award-winning dairy companies that will involve visitors with their products, in a succession of unique and inimitable aromas and flavors.
During the event it will be possible to watch the cheese being made live in a workshop run by master cheese makers and take part in numerous thematic master classes led by industry experts: AIBES (Italian association of barmen and supporters), AMIRA (association of Maîtres Italiani Restaurants and Hotels), Associazione Cibo Futuro, expert pastry chefs, Maître teachers and chef consultants from Aromarte, and much more.... read more»
At the gates of the Castle, for all visitors, carriages with splendid horses will be available in collaboration with the Riding Club il Buscadero dei Monti Lucretili for unforgettable walks within the medieval village of Moricone.
From 10.00, throughout the day: tastings, tastings, culinary secrets and much more await you in the splendid setting of the Roman Sabina with InFormaggio - The Festival of Dairy Art.
