From December 13th to 15th, the historic center of Postiglione, in the province of Salerno, will host the third edition of the food, tourism, and cultural event, "Strettule, i percorsi del gusto postiglionese" (Strettule: Postiglione's Taste Trails).
This three-day event will offer a rich program of cultural, gastronomic, historical, and tourist activities, culminating in the now-famous food trail winding through the alleys of the historic center. Here, houses will be transformed into inns and local restaurateurs will serve traditional Postiglione dishes.
The entire event, with food stalls open from 7 pm on Friday and Saturday and all day from 9 am to midnight on Sunday, will be accompanied by itinerant traditional music, artisan and local product markets, street performances and road safety shows for children, guided tours of historical monuments, outdoor sports in the historic center and throughout the town (from adventure parks with aerial games to river rafting and trekking excursions to the Grotta di Sant'Elia in the mountains), as well as group dances and fitness in the historic center, climbing the Norman castle tower, and bike games.
Now in its successful third edition, the event is organized by the Municipality of Postiglione and the Oratorio Maria SS. del Monte Carmelo, with the patronage of ANCI Campania, Regione Campania, Provincia di Salerno, Parco Nazionale del Cilento Vallo di Diano e Alburni, Comunità Montana Alburni, GAL - I sentieri del buon vivere, and UNCEM.
