After the record-breaking "Cantine Aperte dei record" in May and an edition of Calici di Stelle which – in addition to the splendid regional event in Ortona also saw a very rich calendar of events in the associated cellars – with the arrival of September in Abruzzo it is time for the grape harvest and therefore also for the "Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia" the experiential declination of the successful format created by the Movimento Turismo del Vino which for two months makes wine tourism the protagonists with many weekends in the cellar dedicated to educational grape harvesting.
Families and especially children, groups of friends, who decide to meet in the companies and especially in the vineyards of the Movimento Turismo del Vino Abruzzo to learn and experience first-hand the experience of the grape harvest lived both from a cultural and festive point of view, as per the historic Abruzzo tradition.
The program – currently being updated – includes 18 different events in 13 MTV Abruzzo cellars that can be contacted to find out the daily programs and related costs.
"Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia confirms itself as an event in strong growth, Abruzzo and especially the wineries of the Movement, were among the first in Italy to believe and invest in this form of experiential tourism that makes wine enthusiasts and especially children the real protagonists for a day" says the President of MTV Abruzzo Nicola D'Auria "the calendar of participating wineries as well as that of the individual appointments, grows from year to year and we are extremely proud of it".
