"The most Scottish town in Italy". This is Barga and to prove it, if ever there was a need, there is also the weekend with a Scottish flavour that the town will experience on 6, 7 and 8 September 2024.

During the "three days" there will be the special "Scottish Weekend", dedicated to the link between Barga and Scotland, with many themed events and appointments.
It will be possible to taste the beers of the oldest Scottish brewery, Belhaven of Dunbar, or a peaty whisky but also buy Harris Tweed garments or a traditional Scottish hat. Taste the Irn Bru, an untouchable drink of Scottish culture, or buy a pack of haggis to learn about this other product of their food and wine culture.
