Sunday, May 8, 2016, returns "Asolo Wine Tasting", for its 5th edition. The event, organized by Wines Asolo Montello Consortium in collaboration with Slow Food and AIS Veneto, is dedicated to the enhancement of local wines. The appointment is in the medieval village of Asolo (Treviso), in the Municipal Hall of the Palazzo Beltramini, from 10.30 to 20.00. A day to discover the secrets that make unique wines dell'Asolo Montello: the protection of biodiversity to the recovery of variety and old traditions. The hills of Asolo and the Montello, in fact, are places intact as it combines forests and water sources, where, in addition to the cultivation and culture of the vine, there are other agricultural products such as potatoes, apples, cherries, peas, beans and other principals of gastronomic delights. On this day, one of the tasting tables of participating vendors, visitors can discover through the wines, all the secrets of this wine region. Will be given importance, in particular, the Asolo Superiore DOCG Prosecco in its various versions, in particular the Extra Brut (Asolo is the only name in the Prosecco panorama that can define the type in Extra Brut bottles produced with DOCG) and the Colfondo, Prosecco fermented in the bottle and without disgorgement, as usual. Not only that, through the stands, also the wines produced following the research on indigenous yeasts of the territory. The event is open to the public.
