The Gabriele Moratti winery is located in Cigognola (PV) and consists of 36 hectares of property, of which 28 are vineyards, which are located at an altitude between 300 and 350 meters above sea level. The vineyards are located all around the 12th century castle on the Oltrepo' Pavese hills, a land suited to Pinot Noir, a vine chosen by Cigognola to conquer a place in the small world of high-end wines. The Classic Method line from Pinot Noir grapes presents the Moratti brand and includes Rosé Brut and four Blanc de Noirs: ‘More Brut, ‘More Pas Dosé and Cuvée dell'Angelo Brut. The Castello di Cigognola brand, on the other hand, is reserved for still reds. The project is characterized by a flexible structure that makes use of expert and competent external consultants who collaborate with young professionals in a continuous exchange and evolution of visions, knowledge and methods.
