The "city of stars" celebrates its pizza that has received the De.Co. recognition (municipal denomination). From 23 to 25 September 2024, the Pizza di Vico Equense, a famous location that opens the Sorrento Peninsula, becomes a journey through the territory among monuments, landscapes, nature, typical products famous throughout the world.

The seventh edition of "Pizza a Vico" celebrates its identity pizza that comes from the centuries-old wisdom of its farmers and that today is expressed through the passion of its pizza chefs. The event is an example of quality and creativity in the promotion of the regional food and wine tradition and the territory of Vico Equense because it brings together the master pizza chefs of the territory to promote the gastronomic excellence of Vico Equense, focusing attention on the traditional Pizza di Vico, on the high-quality raw materials that it offers for its unique and original creation and on its intangible values.

The Pizza di Vico is the only one in Italy to have obtained the De.Co. recognition. that recognizes the style, history, and products of a hard-working community: from provolone del monaco to fior di latte, from tomatoes to oil, from the sea to the mountains. The quality of the products is the basis of a cuisine that makes Vico one of the most starred cities in Italy.
