Bagnoli Friularo

Wine tour area: Bagnoli

Bagnoli Friularo is an Italian red wine which has been awarded the DOCG designation. The territory of the DOC Bagnoli is located in the province of Padua, in the plain that extends from the slopes of the Euganean Hills towards Venice.

Friularo is a native grape variety of this area, with a red berry and high acidity. Bagnoli Friularo DOCG is therefore a fresh and tannic wine, which must be aged at least 12 months before being put on the market. It is also produced in the Late Harvest versions (the grapes are harvested only after the "Summer of San Martino" which falls on November 11) and as a passito wine.
