Grape varieties used:

- Corvina from 70 to 40%
- Rondinella from 20 to 40%
- Molinara from 5 to 25% They can also be used grapes from vineyards Rossignola, Negrara, Trentino, Barbera and Sangiovese, alone or in combination, up to a maximum of 15% and also 5% grape varieties permitted in the province of Verona.

Certificazione: DOC / DOCG (dal 2010)

Production area: province of Verona, Veneto. The use of the label "Classic" is reserved to the product from the area that includes the towns of Negrar, Marano, Fumane, St. Ambrose, St. Peter in Cariano.

Color: ruby red.

Bouquet: characteristic spicy, pronounced: ripe fruit, black cherry and raspberry jam. In those aged you can perceive even a hint of musk and tar, goudron.

Taste: rich, velvety, robust.

Minimum alcohol: 14 degrees (can reach 16 °).

Serving temperature: 18 to 20 °C.

Serving glass: large, so as to give the perfume a chance to evolve with the oxygenation of the wine.

Serving at the table: roasted venison with hair or feather noble game and mature cheeses.

Aging: maintains its characteristics even for 10-20 years (if stored properly).
