Colli Piacentini Monterosso Val d'Arda

Here we produce the Monterosso Val d'Arda is a DOC wine that takes its name from the hill in front of Castell'Arquato, a blend of different grape varieties headed Malvasia di Candia aromatic.

The production of Monterosso Val d'Arda is in the municipalities of Castell'Arquato, Carpaneto, Alseno, Gropparello, Lugagnano VA, Vernasca. Castell'Arquato is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, located in the first hills of Val d'Arda, in the province of Piacenza. This is medieval village perched on the hill overlooking the passage with a historic center that is developed on the left bank of the river Arda.

The Castell'Arquato offers a lot of historical, artistic and natural opportunities, from museums to thermal parks, such as the Collegiate Museum,  Geological Museum,  Luigi Illica Museum,  Piacenzano Park, the Thermae of Bacedasco and Santa Franca Park

In 1983, Castell'Arquato enchanted with its beauty the director Richard Donner, who decided to set the movie "Lady Hawke" with actors Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Broderick, and the lands along the medieval streets of this beautiful village.
