Monte Zovo is also the name of the place where the company headquarters and the winery are located. A modern and sustainable structure, completely renovated in 1995 and built according to eco-sustainability criteria, highly innovative at the time, which still make it one of the most ecological wineries in Italy today.
A structure designed following the conformation of the Zovo hill, according to the principles of integration into the territory, whose complete burial gives excellent thermal insulation.

The farm

The Monte Zovo wine line is produced entirely with grapes from the estates owned by the Cottini family. They are 140 hectares spread over three territories: Caprino Veronese (in the locality of Zovo, where the winery is also located and in the Spiazzi locality); Tregnago in Val d’Illasi (where there is space for the fruit drying room) and in the Desenzano area (where the vineyards of
Lugana).
All Monte Zovo wines are destined for the national and international markets, among the high-end references. They include classic references from the Valpolicella area (Amarone, Valpolicella Ripasso, Valpolicella Superiore, Recioto) and other Veronese denominations (Bardolino, Chiaretto di Bardolino, Soave and Lugana) enhance local productions with great quality and respect for traditional oenology. Current production is around 1.4 million bottles.
Also part of the range is the Vigne Alte selection, among which Calinverno Rosso igt stands out, together with Oltremonte Sauvignon igt and Crocevento Pinot Nero igt, the result of vineyards at 900 meters above sea level. They represent the constant research and sense of innovation of Diego Cottini, who was able to create innovative and successful wines in a territory that was not valued until recently.
