Carpenedolo (BS)

Carpenedolo is a town in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is located about 20km from Brescia and 45km from Mantua, on the left bank of the Chiese river. The municipality can boast some products produced by De.Co. and some artistic and architectural beauties. We are in a mainly flat area, at the end of the hilly-moraine area south-west of Lake Garda.

Things to see and do in Carpenedolo

In the historic center, among the various civil and religious buildings of architectural interest, including the seventeenth-century Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Castello, stands the Torre Nuova, one of the highest in the province of Brescia (66 m.), Which rises between via De Amicis and via Baronchelli and was built starting from 1726.

In Carpenedolo in the month of August, the S. Bartolomeo Fair has a long tradition, an event which, in addition to being a showcase of products and producers, showcases the artistic and gastronomic excellence of the town. So here is the Malfatto and the dry cake (both De.Co. products). There is also space for the excellent wine from the cellars of Lake Garda.
