The history of Carretta dates back to Medieval Times, when a first area of cultivated ground was already existing.The revival of the estate occurred in 1985, when Miroglio family decided to buy it with the intention to bring it back to the glorious times.
Tenuta Carretta directly manages a total surface of 70 hectares, divided into different vineyards and areas. The main plot is located in the heart of Roero, the complex of hills on the left side of the river Tanaro: these 35 hectares form a natural amphitheatre around the building and the exposure is from south to south-west.
Inside the estate you will also find a restaurant and a hotel with 10 rooms.
Tenuta Carretta is obviously open to everyone who wants to spend an enjoyable day in the Roero countryside, a stone's throw from Alba, and get to know a winery that produces wines of excellence.
