The fabulous epic of the West comes to life again in the famous Lombard valley thanks to the Valsassina Country Festival, just a few kilometers from Lecco in the municipality of Barzio (LC), on the border with the municipality of Pasturo (LC) in the locality of La Fornace.
The secret of this three-day event, organized by the Associazione 700 MT Soprailcielo, is the atmosphere. It captures the imagination, painting the Western world with scenarios of unspoiled plains inhabited by cowboys and frontiers that serve as the backdrop for the lives of pioneers, creators of unmistakable melodies and gastronomic traditions full of delicious flavors. The Valsassina Country Festival has the ability to take visitors on an epic road trip, discovering the authentic spirit of the Wild West and its vibrant soul. But that's not all: wrapped in the patina of time, there is a style that tells stories of hard lives, of conquests and defeats to be processed as only true men and women know how. Indeed, the old-style American frontier has rolled-up shirt sleeves and is lived by a world of tireless workers who have the frontier in their soul and experience it every day on their own skin, following noble principles and an impeccable moral integrity.
