In Castignano for over 30 years, Templaria Festival has been a cross-section of medieval life with theater, music, exhibitions, conferences, as well as banquets, taverns with medieval menus, and artisan workshops. Walking through the streets of the historic center, during the days of the event, means retracing the history of the Templars that permeates every stone and is perceived in the many suggestions of the place; it means a magical plunge into the past to regain one's memory, to make comprehensible and concrete a cultural heritage that has remained in oblivion for too long.
