The event, aimed at preserving the traditions and culture surrounding pork, is organized by the Nuovo Centro Studi Puglianello, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Puglianello.
Previously known as 'A Fest du Puorc', the festival has now become an extraordinary reality, offering Puglianello, the Campania region, and beyond, the opportunity to relive the magic of a festive moment, where peasant culture takes center stage, always authentic and capable of interpreting the excellence of the times.
The peculiarity of the event lies in the fact that through this festive moment, the aim is primarily to reconnect with the roots of home-raised animals: the raw material used is not from industrial farming but from domestic production to recreate the best dishes of traditional peasant gastronomy.
Pig farming is, in fact, one of the rare customs that rural communities continue to jealously guard, resisting the passage of time despite profound changes in rural life.
