The Maialata in Piazza di Montefiore dell'Aso, a village in the Marche region in the province of Ascoli Piceno, is celebrated in August with dishes based on white and red polenta served on the typical wooden board and cuts of meat from the Archigiana region, chops, ribs and grilled sausages.

An opportunity to taste the key dishes of the Maialata at the tables set up in the two squares of Montefiore and then get lost in the alleys of the historic center browsing through markets and exhibitions, visit the Polo Museale di San Francesco with its precious collections, enjoy the views that only the Marche countryside can offer at dusk ranging from the Adriatic Sea to the Sibillini.
