In Sogliano al Rubicone (FC) the last two Sundays of November and the first of December meet with the Fossa Cheese Fair.
During the event it will be possible to taste and taste the well-known Fossa di Sogliano al Rubicone cheese, DOP since 2007. Considered a small treasure already in the eighteenth century, the ditching techniques have since then become increasingly refined and in 2009 this product of Romagna excellence obtained the PDO with the name "Formaggio di Fossa di Sogliano Dop".
An opportunity to taste and purchase not only the Fossa cheese but also other typical Sogliano products such as Savòr, Saba, Montetiffi clay trays (ideal for cooking piadina), honey, cured meats, etc.
There are many collateral events that surround the gastronomic content of the fair: theatrical, musical and recreational shows, an area dedicated to children, conferences, concerts.
