One of the most anticipated events of the Cilento summer returns in August, the Festa nel Bosco in Perito (SA), organized by the Pro Loco of Perito with the patronage of the Municipality. Perito is a municipality in the province of Salerno, and is a small inland center included in the territory of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, belonging to the Gelbison and Cervati mountain community. Located on the crest of a hill about 480 meters above sea level, it can be accessed from the junction of the variant to the SS.18 and from the Provincial road n°56. The exceptional location of the event since 1980 is the ancient chestnut forest that comes to life and welcomes thousands of visitors ready to rediscover the flavors of the Cilento tradition, immersed in nature, in a truly enchanting atmosphere.
