Early March, still far from the summer tourist season, Lignano Pineta will present itself with the "Festa delle Cape", or the "Clam Festival".

In addition to clams, you can also enjoy other delicacies such as cannolicchi (small scallops), grilled sardines, breaded sardines, sardines in saor (a sweet and sour sauce), calamari and seafood spaghetti.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity, and all the local staff are volunteers. Over the years, the festival has helped local associations such as Agmen, children in emergency situations, the organ transplant center and many other worthy causes.
