The Pumpkin Festival of Pastrengo is a real riot of flavors, sounds and colors, with strong orange hues, set for 5 consecutive days, in the unique architectural-military context of Forte Degenfeld (1861) in the hamlet of Piovezzano. In the locality of Piovezzano you can discover the beloved vegetable in all its possible declinations. Starting from the cuisine, obviously, with risotto, tortelli, pumpkin gnocchi, pumpkin and gorgonzola pie, pumpkin cream soup, meat stew with pumpkin and polenta, jams, mustards, cakes, ice cream, pandolce and many other themed flavors.

The Pumpkin Festival kermesse began in 1991 as the Grape Festival: soon, however, the playful pumpkins took the place of the more prosaic grapes, becoming the protagonists of an event that expertly blends gastronomy, folklore, tradition, culture and fun. It is an opportunity to come and discover Pastrengo, its history and its territory, with a view of Lake Garda and Monte Baldo.
