In August, on the occasion of the Fiera di San Bartolomeo, in Belforte di Gazzuolo (MN) the Beer and Fried Gnocco Festival is held.

The aim is to create the right combination between the Emilian fried gnocco, kneaded fresh every day, the excellent typical cured meats, and the cheeses of the area.

More and more, the festival is characterized by the search for typical and traditional flavors, which with ever greater difficulty, we encounter on our ... globalized tables.

Listing quickly, we will find the typical Salame Mantovano, Mortadella di Bologna, Spalla cotta, Coppa Piacentina, typical Parma Ham. In the cheeses we will encounter the aged Grana Padano and Gorgonzola, to be enjoyed with the Mostarda Cremonese and Mantovana.

Well, there's something for everyone. "Witnesses" of this union will be, once again, great music and rivers of beer, red and blond, from the famous Birrificio MAD ONE / brewing passion of Casalmaggiore.

The traditional local specialty could not be missed, the now highly requested Risotto alla Belfortese, a DE.C.O certified recipe, risotto creamed with sausage, tomato and peas, and an excellent Fried Fish.
