The Grape Festival in Arcevia (AN) has its roots in the late 1920s, when allegorical floats were built in the hamlets that told the story of the harvest, the wine, the peasant culture and paraded through the streets of the center on the last Sunday of September to celebrate the end of the grape harvest.

In fact, Arcevia is at the center of an area dotted with vineyards of the famous Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, the white wine most awarded by the guides. This panoramic natural balcony (535 m above sea level), one of "The most beautiful villages in Italy", is located in the Alte Marche, a suggestive strip of the Apennines extending between the provinces of Ancona and Pesaro-Urbino that includes nine municipalities.
