In Sandrigo (Vicenza), the Bacalà alla Vicentina Festival is held every year in September, an event that celebrates the flagship dish of Venetian culinary tradition.

The undisputed star of the event will inevitably be the stockfish, prepared according to the classic codified recipe. Bacalà will be enjoyed as tradition dictates, accompanied by soft polenta, or in one of the variations presented on different evenings, such as gnocchi and bacalà risotto.

From September 18 to 21 and from September 25 to 29, 2025, the squares and streets of Sandrigo (Vicenza) will be filled with aromas and flavors during the 38th edition of the Festa del Bacalà alla Vicentina. The event returns with a rich program of culinary specialties based on bacalà, food and wine experiences, exhibitions, concerts, and shows for both adults and children.
