L'Antica Fiera di Ginestra is a village fair that each year allocates the proceeds raised to fund projects that give back services to its community.

This year the proceeds will go to Humanitas of Scandicci to purchase an ambulance to be used by the Humanitas "Hill Section" of Ginestra.

During the five event-filled evenings, which will conclude with the unfailing Palio del Papero, visitors will have a food stand run by Humanitas volunteers and a beer stand run by volunteers from the associations that animate and keep the village alive, including "Un Paese ritrovato," the coordinator and organizer of the Fair, to refresh themselves in Piazza del Popolo.
