The White Asparagus Nobile of Verona until the seventies was cultivated in the valley  of Alpone; to extend to the vineyards that produced The Bianco of Soave DOC, then the valley was abandoned to move and direct the production further south in the town of Arcola, where soils were much more suitable land is very sandy, deep and with a freshness such as to permit the birth of this white bud as it is grown away from sunlight so as to stop the natural photosynthesis.  Read more
