It 's the magic of Christmas Taste: 28 to 30 November 2014, the Museo dell'Opera di Verona, the first food festival Christmas in a museum of music, art and sustainability. The magical blend of opera, food and Christmas is possible and you can live a Taste of Christmas in a prestigious stage: AMO, the museum of the Opera at the beautiful Palazzo Forti, in the historic center of Verona.
Inspired by the concept of guided tour of the museum, where the visitor is guided to explore the creative process and gives rise to stage an opera, in the same way Taste of Christmas the public will be the focus of a dedicated path. Each star chef, including Elia Rizzo (2 stars) Restaurant Il Desco, and Nicola Portinari (2 stars) Restaurant La Peca, will conduct a three-course menu with which to give "a taste" of philosophy and creativity that distinguishes them in the kitchen.
In addition to music, art and Christmas, Taste of Christmas is also focusing on sustainability: you can taste "flat green", sustainable recipes for cooking method, ingredients, preparation and transportation of raw materials. Each chef will create a dish from one side to the other of environmental sustainability and the positive energy that the pot itself can generate in those who tastes it. Electrolux Chefs' Secrets - The cooking school; the place where you can discover the secrets in the kitchen thanks to a wide range of courses taught by some of the chefs at the event. There are 20 workstations, perfectly fitted with the most advanced equipment, Electrolux, where participants will find themselves with the "hands-on" learning many delicious Christmas recipes and discover the techniques of preparation and cooking of food by the great masters.
The Lab; A real laboratory that evokes the back shop of the mechanic, a source of delight confectionery and savory. The best pastry chefs, bakers and cake designers will reveal the tricks of the dough in the oven allowing you to prepare your own home delicacies and treats. All through mini-lectures on a few fans at a time.
If the larger will be spoiled for choice among the attractions on the program, for children, the festival will do less. Indeed, the focus on initiatives that promote taste education and healthy eating since ages, as in other Italian editions, will always be very high. In addition, Taste of Christmas the children will be involved in a number of activities that are sure to make Christmas decorations with food.
