Senigallia Città Gourmet

Senigallia Città Gourmet returns on Saturday 14 October, an event now in its 3rd edition which is configured as the first step of a strategy aimed at the construction of a complex "network of gourmet cities", that is, those realities which are custodians of a particular food and wine appeal but which, at the same time, they present a significant index of high quality of life, a testimony of "good living" in every aspect: from food and wine to fashion, from art to landscape, from wellness to design, to go as far as new strategic models urban. In one phrase: lifestyle.

In the elegant environments of Palazzo Baviera, at 11:00, three tourist destinations that tell the story of Italy from North to South will meet in the role of founders of the nascent network. Next to Senigallia there will be: Isola della Scala (VR) with the Fair del Riso, Vialone nano Veronese PGI rice festival; Foligno with the I primi d'Italia festival; San Vito Lo Capo (TP) with the Cous Cous Fest. During a talk show in which the Polytechnic University of Marche and Confcommercio Marche Centrali will also participate, which will provide a point of view on the socio-economic implications of tourism development from a "gourmand" perspective, the three realities will discuss their respective specificities to find a common way of collaboration. At the end the four Mayors will sign a memorandum of understanding.

In the afternoon, starting from 5pm, the meeting becomes a spectacle: at the Foro Annonario, in the heart of the city, a spectacular open kitchen will host the Gourmet Cities Jam Session. Great guests, unique flavors and exciting stories will take turns on stage until the evening, with the hosting entrusted to Tinto, from RAI Decanter Radiodue. Among the guests, the chef and television face Ambra Romani, who spent part of her life in Senigallia as did her colleague Davide Marchionni of the Accademia di Tipicità. And again, the irresistible verve of Gabriele Ferron, "prince of risotto", and the amazing mastery in the art of Cous Cous of Benedetto Di Lorenzo and Antonino Grammatico, respectively Italian Champion and Captain of the Italian specialty team. Among the stories of producers that will enrich the Jam Session, the historical testimony of the "Amici del Molo" and the newborn experience of the Consorzio Vignaioli delle Marche.
