Senigallia, a city in the Marche region known for its iconic "velvet beach" and the much vaunted Rotonda a Mare, offers "glamorous" hospitality suitable for everyone, with many tasty nuances. On 10 July Senigallia Città Gourmet comes to life, the program of initiatives that shines the spotlight on the special welcome that the coastal center is able to offer to Italian and international guests, a multi-starred city, thanks to two famous chefs: Mauro Uliassi, three Michelin stars, and Moreno Cedroni who has two stars. With five stars, Senigallia stands out for the highest concentration of Michelin stars in relation to the population.
The event is promoted by the Municipality of Senigallia and is the sixth stage of the Grand Tour of the Marche 2021, organized by Tipicità and ANCI Marche, in collaboration with the Marche Region and with the project partnership of Banca Mediolanum and Mediolanum Private Banking.
At 10.30 the Rotonda a Mare hosts "The symposium of Italian hospitality", with the contribution of the protagonists of Italian hospitality and well-known faces, starting with Gioacchino Bonsignore, editor-in-chief of TG 5, and Alberto Lupini, director of Italia a Tavola, who will try to draw a picture on the new hospitality of the post-pandemic, together with universities, sector associations and entrepreneurial talent. Among the guests the starred chef Rosanna Marziale. The initiative will also be available in streaming on the official channels of Tipicità.
At 6.30 pm the Rotonda lights up with tastes, flavors and stories. Gourmets and the curious will be able to participate in a tasting-show to discover precious gastronomic “gems” of sea and land. The host Tinto, from Rai Decanter, will lead the trip in the company of the chefs of the Academy of Typicality and the producers-authors.
At 9.00 pm grand finale with a very innovative performance by Tinto himself, who will present his first novel “The Neck of the Bottle”, between music and wine stories.
On this occasion, the Municipality of Senigallia will celebrate the delivery of the blue flag in the Rotonda, starting from 5.30 pm, also confirmed for 2021.
The Senigallia Città Gourmet initiative continues throughout the week, until Sunday 18 July, in the restaurants, chalets and hotels of the city that are participating in the project, with special proposals in line with the event.
