This year, to best experience the magic of Christmas, just choose Rome and indulge in the thrill of traveling around the world enjoying the atmosphere of the main festive cities in one go. From 1 December 2023 to 7 January 2024, for the second consecutive year, Villa Borghese is transformed and preparing to host the Christmas World event, one of the most prestigious Christmas events in Europe. During the holidays, an exhibition itinerary covering an area of 50,000 m2 will be set up in the historic park of Rome, dedicated to the celebration of Christmas in the main cities of the world. A group of Italian artists will give life to iconic settings and magical atmospheres, building a fascinating imaginary journey through eight global metropolises and offering the capital's public the opportunity to be influenced by different traditions and cultures through authentic experiences. Rome, Paris, London, Tokyo, New York, Berlin, New Delhi and Lapland will be the destinations of a journey that also includes six shows with original music and scripts. In addition to the presence of 700 active actors throughout the park area and an audience of 2000 spectators, to complete the offer there will also be an 800 m2 ice rink, the largest Nativity scene in Italy, Gospel concerts, parades and activities for children. An absolute novelty of this edition will be the area dedicated to Wonka, protagonist of the famous book "The Chocolate Factory", but also of the film by Warner Bros Pictures due out in theaters in December.
